June 14, 2009 spells excitement and anticipation for the alumni as they look forward for the opening of Fr. Al’s Cup and the ASMSI – Cebu Sportsfest 2009. There are a lot of new things to try and new approaches to be tested! Whew! A bigger and better one indeed if you ask me. Mauli gid ako sa Antique…. Is a famous line in the song “ Mauli gd ako sa Antique”. Antique is located west coast of Iloilo. A province rich in peace and orderliness. Though it is 4 hours away from Iloilo City by land travel and the roadway is somewhat like the intestine of a chicken our Sisters courageously took their way to Antique.

It is our dream that all chapters of Alumni of the Sisters of Mary in Iloilo be gathered. And it just came true. ASMSI Iloilo had trouble combining its chapters. It was May 5, 2008 when we first found Seoul Boystown(SOM Soeul Korea). It was also our first bonding here with our brothers, we're only four when we started. We go to church every sunday and we even joined a choir in Suwon City.As the days passed by many trials and difficulties comes our way and we stand still inspite of those hardship. “What makes March better is being home again.” This is the line that summarizes the event which took place on March 15, 2009 in SMS-Boystown (Minglanilla). It was a day for the sons and daughters of Fr. Al in the Visayas and Mindanao to get together and to enliven once again, the spirit of joy in serving the Lord.
There are more than enough reasons to call the gathering a special one. A number of important milestones took place as well. It was the Grand Alumni Homecoming of 2009, The 17th Death Anniversary of Fr. Al, the Launching of the Alumni Cooperative, the Unveiling of the Stained Glass Picture of Fr.
